Qualifications: M.S. Degree in Special Education required New York State Certification in School Administration and Supervision, School Building Leader within the first 6 months of employment required New York State Certification in Special Education New York State Certification, SAS or SDL also required Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Directs, supervises and coordinates day to day operations of a special education and childcare program for infants, toddlers, and preschool age students (ages 6 weeks to 5 years). In case of staff absence, may be required to work evening hours (up to 6:00 PM) or early hours (7:30 AM) if needed to provide classroom coverage or attend after school meetings. May be required to attend evening meetings.Physical demands may include lifting or transferring a student.
